Urban Decay is rewriting the meaning of “ghosting.” Instead of disappearing from conversations, the beauty label turns the term into a rejection of unnecessary expectations with the launch of the “Ghosting Trio,” a new complexion system fronted by actress Mika Abdalla, best known for her role in Amazon Prime’s “Off Campus.” Marking her first major beauty campaign, Abdalla introduces a collection built around speed, versatility and a softer approach to flawless skin.

The launch brings together three complementary products designed to prepare, perfect and refresh makeup throughout the day: “Ghosting Paste,” “Ghosting Powder” and “Ghosting Spray.” Rather than chasing full-coverage perfection, the trio focuses on refining texture, controlling shine and extending wear while allowing skin to retain a natural-looking finish.
At the centre of the collection sits “Ghosting Spray,” arguably the brand’s most unconventional formula to date. Urban Decay transforms the familiar concept of loose setting powder into a tinted dry aerosol that delivers an ultra-fine veil across the complexion within seconds. The formula mattifies instantly, softens visible texture and eliminates excess shine without the waiting time typically associated with setting sprays. Available in Light, Medium and Deep, the adaptable shades are designed to blend seamlessly across a wide spectrum of skin tones.
Campaign star Mika Abdalla highlights the product’s practicality, describing it as a quick reset rather than a complete makeup redo. Intended for life on the move, the spray allows users to refresh their complexion and continue their day without interrupting their routine.

Before makeup comes “Ghosting Paste,” a silicone-free primer formulated to blur pores, reduce oiliness and create a smooth matte surface while maintaining hydration for up to 24 hours. Its gripping texture keeps foundation in place without pilling, residue or the tackiness often associated with long-wear primers.
For areas requiring additional precision, “Ghosting Powder” completes the system. Produced using freeze-dried technology, the setting powder retains the featherweight feel of a loose formula while delivering targeted shine control. Offered in five translucent shades, it refines the complexion without leaving behind a dense or powdery finish.

According to Urban Decay Global Makeup Artist in Residence Alexandra French, each product has been designed to function independently or as part of a complete complexion ritual. The sequence remains intentionally straightforward: prep with “Ghosting Paste,” set selectively with “Ghosting Powder,” then finish with “Ghosting Spray” for a balanced, long-lasting result.
The campaign also carries a broader message. Urban Decay Global Head Anika Majithia frames “ghosting” as an act of choosing what deserves attention and leaving behind the expectations that no longer resonate. Through Mika Abdalla, that narrative shifts away from conventional beauty standards and toward individuality, confidence and self-definition.
The collection is now available through the Urban Decay website, Sephora, Ulta and TikTok Shop across the United States. “Ghosting Paste” remains exclusive to Urban Decay and Ulta ahead of a wider retail expansion in 2027, while the international rollout begins in September 2026.
