Inside Lenny Kravitz’s Latest Furniture Collection for CB2

Posted on November 5, 2025May 13, 2026 by cvltartes.pr@gmail.com

Marking a decade of collaboration, CB2 and Lenny Kravitz have unveiled a new furniture collection through Kravitz Design, continuing a creative partnership that has steadily evolved across multiple design narratives. The latest collection, comprising 62 pieces, draws heavily from the architectural and cultural atmosphere of Southern California, filtered through Kravitz’s signature blend of modernism, material richness, and relaxed sophistication.

Where earlier collaborations explored 1970s influences, Parisian elegance, and globally sourced references, this newest chapter shifts toward the architectural language of California modernism. Inspirations range from the iconic Case Study Houses to the effortless glamour of Malibu, resulting in a collection that balances sculptural presence with a lived-in sense of comfort.

The material palette reflects that ambition. Breccia marble, stainless steel, woven leather, suede, rice paper, and custom Italian textiles create a visual language that feels both tactile and refined. Throughout the collection, clean modernist lines are softened by warmer finishes and relaxed proportions, allowing the pieces to feel polished without becoming overly formal.

Among the standout designs is the Kanan seating series, where tailored upholstery in custom Italian twill wraps sleek, low-slung silhouettes that prioritize both comfort and visual restraint. The collection’s marble tables continue the modernist dialogue, pairing richly textured Breccia stone surfaces with stainless-steel bases that subtly reference the structural precision of International Style architecture.

Several existing Kravitz Design signatures also reappear in reimagined forms. The Rake lounge chair and ottoman reinterpret an earlier dining chair design through a more relaxed lens, combining sculptural metal framing with soft suede cushioning. Lighting takes on a similarly architectural presence in the Nagara series, where bent steel structures and marble bases support delicate rice paper shades, balancing industrial precision with softer atmospheric qualities.

Hand-knotted Sirocco rugs complete the collection, introducing texture and subtle graphic rhythm through a restrained palette of ivory, sand, toffee, charcoal, and black. The overall composition feels cohesive, rooted in neutrality but enriched through material contrast and sculptural detailing.

With this third collaboration, Kravitz and CB2 continue to refine a shared design vocabulary where music, architecture, and interiors intersect. The collection captures a vision of contemporary luxury that feels informed by modernist discipline, yet unmistakably shaped by the ease and warmth associated with California living.
